Mike is at the Vikings game, Carmen is taking a nap and Mommy is playing on the computer. Last night we went to a friend's house for 'Gourmet Club,' it is a dinner club we started with 3 other couples. One of the couples has a little girl about a year and half older than Carmen. It is interesting for me to see her interact with kids other than those in her daycare class. It doesn't take her long to warm up to people she doesn't know, which can be good and bad. She was shy for maybe 20 seconds then started in on introducing herself. Her and the other girl shared toys and really enjoyed playing with each other. They chased each other down the hallway, found feather dusters and dusted the apartment, put on Lis's chapstick, and jumped on Josh's bed. Its nice having a group of friends you feel comfortable bringing your kid with.
